Events: Fall in love with your local market!
Love your local market fortnight is back (Thursday 16 to Saturday 25 May). North Lincolnshire Council is hosting a series of
events across the area to appreciate the long history of market life.
- History: Rabbits from Risby
There is still plenty of Sky Ride local bike rides that you can get involved in across North Lincolnshire.
The next bike ride is on Sunday 19 May starting from The Angel in Brigg at 2pm.
- Food: Taste of Lincolnshire
Pick up an array of delicious foods on offer at the popular Food Festival returning to Normanby Hall Country Park on Sunday 19 May
from 10.30am to 4.30pm. There will be stalls galore including everything from jams and chutneys to speciality meats and homemade pies.
- Cycling: Sky Ride Local
The next bike ride is on Sunday 19 May starting from The Angel in Brigg at 2pm. It will be a nine mile bike ride along the river
Ancholme to Cadney and then on to Howsham before returning to Brigg.
- Events: Tribute to the Lightning
In mid-May visitors to the Newark Air Museum, will get the chance to meet and chat with former air and ground crew who flew and
serviced the iconic Cold War supersonic jet fighter - the English Electric Lightning.

Buttercross refurbished
