2010 jan 29 Brigg based company Link2Energy has set up a business collecting business rubbish from Brigg businesses - reports the Scunthorpe Telegraph - and supply it to other companies which can make use of this rubbish as a raw material. Malcolm Bailey - a Link2Energy company director - is quoted as saying: "The project we want to propose is to make Brigg an eco town". Link2Energy will monetize the scheme by charging a "small fee" for collecting the rubbish from businesses within a five mile radius of Brigg and then selling the waste to other companies within a twenty mile radius of Brigg.
