Children To See Santa Arrive On Rare Bus

Section: Charity appeals

2010 nov 18

A group of foster and special needs children from the area have been invited to be the first to visit Santa in his grotto when he arrives at Brigg Garden Centre on Saturday (November 20) at 10.30 am.

The 20 children will see Santa arrive not on a sleigh but in a 56-year-old bus, which is one of only two in the world that is still running.

Phillippa Nickson, of Brigg Garden Centre, said: "The children will be given a complimentary visit to Santa's grotto and they will also be able to board his bus. In past years he has arrived on a sleigh and a fire engine, but this year's vintage bus has to be his most unusual mode of transport yet."
