Court house to become maisonettes

2010 feb 1 Planning permission is being sought for the redevelopment of the old courthouse on Wrawby Street - reports the Scunthorpe Telegraph into a development of luxury maisonettes. The court house has been bought by Caistor businessman Karl Ellis who used to live in Brigg. He is now planning to invest £400,000 in the conversion to five luxury maisonnettes. Work on these is expected to begin in the summer and finish in 2011. The price for the maisonettes is not yet known for certain but is likely to be in the range from £90-140,000. Links:
