Pingley Camp

Email: Barbara Williamson 2011aug15 2022

Hello again.

I remember walking down Pingley Lane with my Grandmother, during or just after the war we passed tents all the way down the lane, she said they were for the Italian Prisoners.

We were on our way to visit Jim Thorpe, a family friend. He and my father started the Brigg rowing club back in the early 1920's.

Best wishes, Barbara
