In an effort to trace my family history, I've just come across your website and wondered if you may be able to help.

So far I know that my direct ancestor was a Thomas Jobb, who according to the apprenticeship records (see attached) of his son, Charles, was an "innholder" of Glamford Brigg in 1711, and also according to his Lincoln Consistory Court Will (see attached) was a yeoman who married Mary (see attached Will), and had a daughter Mary who married a Thomas Nicholls and an Elizabeth who married a Robert Chapman.

Apart from this despite doing a lot of digging, I haven't uncovered anything else yet, so wonder if you knew anything about the Inn's or Yeomans of the Wrawby or Glanford Brigg area around 1700?

Thank you.

Best regards, Mike Darfield
