Can you help beautify a school?

Dear Editor

I have recently been promoted to a leadership position at the Vale Academy in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. Part of my job is to lead student leadership across the academy and I have sent up a number of groups that will enable our students to show and develop leadership skills.

One of the groups is leading in keeping the environment beautiful and have started by improving the toilets. We were wondering if you knew of any companies that would donate mirrors/ bathroom fixings/paint to help us improve the toilets?

We are also planning on developing an outside area to create a lovely picnic area. Anything would be greatly appreciated!!

We will be getting the local press involved and would make sure that your name got a mention, as well as the companies that would get involved.

It is good to read that the students are getting actively "hands-on" involved in their Academy. Does anyone out there in Internetland know of companies who can help Angela and the Vale Academy out with their decorating?? Hi there,

I saw the post on the Brigg Life website.

I wondered if I could try and help. We work with Dulux Decorator Centres on their 'Colouring the Community' and 'Let's Colour' projects, and both offer paint donations to worthy causes. The only difference being that CTC also provides materials such as brushes etc whereas Let's Colour just provides brightly coloured paints.

I hope they're of some use to the Academy. We manage the PR for DDC and both are great community-involving projects.
