Belly dancing in Brigg

Hi I don't know if Jane would be interested but for some time my belly dance teacher had tried to get a class going in Brigg. There are classes in Ashby on a Sat. morning and Grange Farm Hobbies Centre on Tuesday nights. The more interest shown the more chance we will get our own class here in Brigg. Fay

Ballet dancing

Is there a ballet/dance class at Brigg? If so do you know where, who organises it and if I'm really lucky a telephone number. Ruth.

Noticeboard?

Brigg's noticeboard?

It is surprising for a town the size of Brigg the amount of events which occur. Surprising too, that there is no noticeboard upon which information about these events can be read.

Many people have suggested it - so it is perhaps time for BriggLife too to join in with the idea of using one of the four blank windows of the Angel in the Marketplace as places where notices can be displayed.

At the moment the windows are constantly kept blank by blinds (see pic right), so that the North Lincs council workers can concentrate on their work. These two front rooms would also be an ideal location for Brigg Town / North Lincs council and other officials to put their plans on display.

Another possibility is one of the spaces between the pillars of the bandstand which could be replaced with a noticeboard panel.
