A Contemporary Charismatic Church

PROFILE: NLC is an all-age group of people drawn from different walks of life. We're part of Lincoln New Life Christian Fellowship, a growing city church, with more than a 1000 members. We also enjoy full membership in the Ground Level network of 70+ churches, and we're affiliated with the Evangelical Alliance in the UK. NLC is committed to working with other local churches, through the Brigg Ministers' Fraternal and involvement in joint projects, such as production of the Brigg Churches Directory, and the Brigg Passion Play.

PURPOSE: To honour God with our lives, to build Christian community, to encourage people to fulfil their purpose, and to reach out in friendship and service to everyone around us.

PROGRAMMES:

• Main Service - Sunday at 3.30pm - in Brigg Methodist Church - with activities for children
• Small groups - meeting weekly in various venues for prayer and mutual support.
• Monthly visits to our partner church in Lincoln
• KRASH (Kids Really Are Special Here) - a monthly children's club meeting in Brigg & Broughton
• Songs Of Praise - monthly services in Residential Homes
• Overseas Missions - we are keen to identify with God's work in other countries, supporting work in Sierra Leone (West Africa) and work with street children in Central America

CELEBRATION: NLC values being part of a network of churches, which gather for an annual celebration at the Lincolnshire Showground over August Bank Holiday weekend. 'Grapevine' has run for over 25 years, and now draws more than 12,000 people together either as campers or day visitors for several days of uplifting worship, challenging ministry and inspiring fellowship. All are welcome, whatever their denominational affiliation.
