Brigg Fair programme 2005 August 5

Updated programme for the 5th August 2005.

• 08:30: Stalls to open. Children's workshop. (The Angel)
• 10:00: Official opening.
• 11:00: Flower arranging demonstration.
  Line Dancing. (at The White Hart)
• 12:30 Present the BUG to Brigg.
• 1:00 pm: Queen and Princess pageant.
  Band of the Air Cadets. (Parade through Brigg)
• 2 - 3:00 pm: Preparation for Family Pet Show, with display from 'Hearing Dogs' (on the Millennium Green)
• 3:00 pm: Judging of the Family Pets.
• 3:15 pm: Cooking competition.
• 4:00 pm: W. I. Cake competition.
  Disco in the square. (continues until 6:00 pm or longer).
• 7 - 8:00 pm Fashion Show (Ballroom in the Angel Suite)
• 7 - 9:00 pm Mobile Pub Quiz (teams of four)

Our MC for the day is "Rachel Day". Some of the above is dependant on the weather.

We now have some 54 stallholders who have booked and paid we and hope there is something for all those who attending on the 5th.

There is also static presentation from both public and private bodies.

There will be ample refreshments, both hot and cold throughout the fair area. First Aid cover will be carried out by the Humberside St John Ambulance.

We hope to be able to run a lost and found for those young children who wonder off. (Could mums please ensure that your children have some form of ID and your mobile number, so we may reunite lost children).

We the committee do not wish to scare those attending, but would ask that at no time there are any parcels or packages left unattended.

The "Control Room" will be located in the lounge room in Brigg Town Council offices.
