The Classic Car Night is an extremely popular event held in the Brigg marketplace and the surrounding historic town centre streets.

The organising group of Brigg's major events - such as Brigg Fair, Brigg Horse Fair, Classic Vehicle nights and Brigg Christmas Fair - are urgently seeking volunteers to help run this years events.

It is unlikely that the 2005 event shall be taking place. The group controlling the event - The Brigg & District Community Association - is facing financial difficulties as a consequence of the cost of staging last year's Classic Car Evenings. There is also a shortage of volunteers to run the event.

However, there is a meeting on June 20th to see if more volunteers can be found. If you - or any other reader - could attend that meeting or act as a marshal on the day that would be great!
