Brigg Horse Fair 2006Saturday, 5 August 2006 After facing an uncertain future over the past few years, the Brigg Horse Fair is looking healthy once again.
The horse fair was run in a much safer way this year. A line of barriers kept the public safely away from the trotting horses.
Security guards and police were also present to ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all.
Those concerned with the event organisation at North Lincolnshire Council, Brigg Town Council and the Gypsy community deserve recognition and praise for keeping this important tradition alive and giving visitors to Brigg such an great day out.
