Falcon Triathlon 2003

Once again the Brigg Falcon Adventure Challenge (Triathlon) went ahead on Sunday 25th of May (2003) with more competitors than last year - many coming from far afield to compete. On the right, is a photo-montage (pictures courtesy J.Melton) of the event in 2003.

The event consisted of a 38km bicycle race, followed by 10 kilometres on the River Ancholme in canoes then finished off with a 10k cross country run. (The words 'finished off' are appropriate as that lot would certainly finish me off - Editor :-).

Congratulations have to go to all the competitors who put on a fantastic performance. The only real pity is that there weren't many people in the market place to cheer them back.
