Natasha
Brigg is fast becoming a centre for beauty in North Lincolnshire. A new business - Premier Fast Tanning Studio - shall be opening shortly in April and will bring some of the most sophisticated tanning technology to Brigg.
Natasha Tutty and her husband Adrian are busy at work converting the former Pound Shop on Springs Parade into a state-of-the-art beauty business. They have scoured the country for the most advanced equipment and shall be installing a Sunquest non-UV spray-tanning pod and a conventional UV self-tanning pod.
Natasha is keen to make it as easy as possible to achieve a great tan. It is possible to get an all-over rich, golden tan in under a minute in the fully automated spray booth. Unlike operator applied tans, complete privacy is assured. There is even a DVD which explains the best way to get that "just off the beach" look.
The business has been a year in the planning, yet it is only four years since Natasha came to Broughton in North Lincolnshire from Belarus.
Adrian met his wife-to-be in Sardinia. Natasha and her two daughters had been taken to Sardinia by a charity offering support to inhabitants of Belarus in the area of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Love, followed by marriage and a move to the UK followed for Natasha after meeting Adrian - who works at Cary Lane Taxis.
The first year wasn't easy for Natasha or her twin daughters. There was little support from the state to help them integrate and learn English. Nevertheless, they persisted and now have come to love our county. Her daughters have managed to overcome the language barrier and have shone at all their exams. One of them is doing beauty studies and would like to join her mother and offer acrylic and gel nail treatments.
