Fashion show in aid of Tsunami appeal
Sunday, 6 March 2005
On Wednesday, 23rd March 2005 at 7.30pm, fashion graduate, Kate Birkett, and friends Amy Wheatley and Clair Heathcote are holding a Fashion Show at The Angel Suite, Brigg in aid of the South East Asia Tsumani Disaster Appeal.

Kate and Amy
Kate, a former student of North Lindsey College, graduated from University of Central Lancashire last year.
Using some of Kate and Amy's own new designs, and Kate's final collection, they have also enlisted the support of Fem's Fashions, College Yard, Brigg in providing an exciting display of young women's clothing. Local girls have been recruited as models, and an army of friends and family will help out front and back stage on the evening.
Kate draws inspiration for her designs from many different sources ranging from local fashion shows, magazines, specialists such as 'Trend Prediction' and has attended Premier Vision in Paris. She designs 'funky' daywear and evening wear principally for young ladies from teens through to twenties, but also plans to design children's clothes.
Local shops in Brigg have kindly donated raffle prizes and a cash contribution towards the organisation of the event has been received from DDM Estate Agents. Kate and Amy's employer, Sue Rhodes Quality Fabrics, has supported the girls by allowing them to use the shops facilities after hours to create the outfits and has donated fabric.
All profits from the event will be donated to support the DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal (Funding Raising Number TEAFUNDR1134).
Kate, Amy and Clair would like to thank everyone for supporting them in the organisation of the show, and hope the event will be well supported on the 23rd.
Tickets for the Fashion Show are available from Sue Rhodes Quality Fabrics, 15 Bridge Street, Brigg, £3.50 Adults, £2.50 Concessions.
Telephone 01652 650662 for further details, between 9am - 5.30pm.
