Wow! No rain! That should be enough for anyone … a day of Hull-like greyness to brighten our town ….

… but is ‘brighten’ the right word to use today, when no less than two letters appeared in the Scunthorpe Telegraph about how Brigg was ‘stuck in a timewarp’ and the other complaining that the council was trying to keep Brigg in the ‘15th century’? Strange really, as only a couple of weeks ago, there was mention that Brigg was becoming a 'cafe culture' town ... ;-)
