I would think that Ancholme Lodge (read email) does not refer to a house but to a Freemason or Buff Lodge, or something like that. Isn't the present Freemason Lodge in Brigg called Ancholme Lodge? It depends what the 'I.O.G.' means - it could be Independent Order of something beginning with G. My old dictionary lists an I.O.G.T. - Independent Order of Good Templars, but I've never heard of them. Was there once an Independent Order of Goodfellows?
