No more beige
James - 31 October 2006
I am writing in response to the Beige Rant on Brigglife.co.uk.
I listen to the radio a lot - and in fact, prefer to listen to the radio than what I do CDs.... The albums and singles mentioned in the "Say No to Beige" article on Brigglife are all fantastic.
For example... The Gorillaz album, Demon Days - is a fantastic album back to front. - and is perfect for somebody who likes upbeat, acoustic, hip-hop/soul music... The Black Eyes Peas album is also a very good album - which they have done really well with.
The song mentioned on Brigglife, called "My Humps" is also a really popular song... with a great beat and rhythm - and sassy and well sang lyrics from lead singer, Fergie.
The Sugababes are also a real good British band - some of my favorites from the 'babes - are "In The Middle" and "Hole in the head".
I recommend Brigglife readers to turn to the internet to discover new music and obtain music by legal downloads - on stores such as iTunes. The internet is responsible for the launch of many artists, such as UK chart sensation Lily Allen - who is now doing excellent in the States.
I agree with the editor... far too much 'beige' is played on the radio.... especially the local ones. I suppose that's why people are downloading music online now, and making their own playlists - and putting them on their iPods and MP3 Players to listen to on the go.
Beige music just makes people feel under-the-weather, and causes them to have headaches.....
Paracetamol tablets are £3.19 in Boots Chemist.....
