Service availability apology
Brigg Life would like to apologise for the 'downtime' of brigglife.co.uk. During August there has been unprecedented interest in the site which has meant that the 'bandwidth available' has been exceeded. If you experience problems connecting to brigglife.co.uk the best thing to do is to try a short while later when it may be possible to connect.
Dogs and wildlife put at risk by irresponsible minority

A small minority of irresponsible dog owners are creating a danger to wildlife and the public by allowing their dogs to roam uncontrolled. Pictured above are two feral dogs which were hunting along the banks of the River Ancholme in the centre of Brigg - where many families go with their infants to feed the ducks. The dogs, while running out of control, could be easily run down on the roads or attack wildlife while scavenging for food.
The black retriever cross has a red collar. Could the 'owners' of these animals please take their dogs under control before someone is injured? Daily Mail news feature: George Brown needs 200 stitches. If you see a stray hound call the dog warden on 01724 297 000.
