Brigg shops and business changes (and stays the same)

Brigg Snooker Club

As ever, there have been many changes in Brigg over the last year. And as ever, things work out pretty much the same.

2006 has seem some businesses leave Brigg:- Soft Touch, DTP, Jacqui's Fashion, Fireplace Corner, Ward Roofing. The snooker club (pic right) has closed and will be replaced by flats. Much respected Brigg craftsman Fred Suddaby has retired.

Replacing these departures, several new business have opened up in Brigg:- Top Totty, Mystical World, JB Logistics, Time For You, Jones's Barbers, Lindsey Lodge (Charity shop), Earth Energies, Classic Health & Beauty. Ink It Uk has opened a retail shop.

The now famous 'Brigg shuffle' has happened with several businesses moving to new premises within the town :- LLoyd's has 'consolidated' to Wrawby Street from Bigby Street, The Pet Shop has moved a few doors down, while Night Owl has perched on the Market Place. Parkers Carpets have sold one of their complex of show rooms for housing.

Other Brigg businesses have changed owner or just their name:- Smith Parkinson, The Brocklesby Ox, Appleby's Travel became First Choice, Brigg Travel became Althams, H for Hair became Mel's Images, Sibling became Tiny Tots and the Bigby Street dental practice changed partners.
