War of the Wolds?![]() What are these mysterious markings? Strange markings in a roughly circular form have appeared in the wheat field next to Rocal Panels on the Ancholme Industrial Estate. The rings are around 20 feet / 6m across and are present in a series which diminishes in size from east to west. Are these circles evidence of the visitation of UFOs - or were they made by more human hands? Vote Gemma!![]() Gemma Hayward Gemma Hayward (right) is looking for your vote! She would like to spread her smile around North Lincolnshire and put something back into the community by becoming Miss Scunthorpe Telegraph. Gemma, who works at accountants AP Robinson in Brigg, is currently studying for an AAT course and plans to go on to gain her articles as an accountant in four years. When asked about her heroes, she mentioned that she used to like Judy Garland for her performance in the Wizard of Oz, but now her hero is her father. She would like to emulate his success as a chief engineer by becoming a chartered accountant. Gemma goes to the gym often: it gives her a lot of energy and keeps her fit. She likes to 'keep things simple' concerning her appearance. She has a sensitive skin so doesn't use much make-up and she just shampoos hair to keep it looking good. You can vote for Gemma by sending in the coupon printed in the Telegraph until July 16th - or drop your coupon off at AP Robinson's office on Wrawby St. to save a stamp.
