2005 reviewWhat sort of year was it in Brigg in 2005? How did the national and international economy affect life in our part of North Lincolnshire? Buy it in Brigg! |
Kathryn Taylor?Hi. This is a long shot but I am trying to trace an old colleague of my mum's: Kathryn Taylor. A few years ago mum lost her address book (in a car fire on holiday) and no longer has Kathy's address. She still receives Christmas cards from her every year but Kathy never puts her addresses in it. Kathy will now be in her forties. I know that Kathy lives in Scawby. The postmark on Kathy's Christmas card was DN20 so hopefully she is in the area and will read BriggLife! |
My Mum (Kathleen Darbyshire) met her when she worked at Wetherby High School as a Lab Technician - at the time Kathy was living in Tockwith, near York. Kathy's obviously got Mum's address so if she reads this message and wants to get in touch all she has to do is look mum up in the phone book or send an email reply. Many thanks, Gill. (by email) Happy New Year!To everyone in Brigg and beyond ... :-) |
Cold snap
As ever, Brigg avoided a White Christmas, but there was a substantial cold snap. Seen above is the Market Place at night during snow. |
