Year of the Dog The Chinese New Year begins (29 January) bringing in year 4703 in the Chinese calendar. One sixth of the world's population shall celebrate the year of the Dog. Those born in the year of the Dog are faithful, hardworking and honest. Presumably, 2006 will also share these characteristics! Even bred last year not far from us and produced one offspring. So lovely to see and the first pair I have seen here in the north since moving here 30 years ago. |
