Quotable

A bus station is where a bus stops, a train station is where a train stops.

On my desk I have a work station ...

From: The thoughts of Mr Plum

Ancholme River Delta Blues ...

'We just have to comment on the issue of no one ever walking through the bandstand in Brigg. I have to confess that we have a tradition for the two of us to burst into some metal air guitar playing whenever we walk through the bandstand. Well we are both in our forties and should know better but hey! - what's life if you can't let your old rocker hair down a bit!!!' Maybe you will see the demonstration of head banging one day, watch out!!! :-> - Ray n Zena.

Ed: Look forward to that! My own personal favourite 'air guitar' tunes are: The Who - "Won't get fooled again", Muddy Waters - "Hoochie Coochie Man", and - if I'm feeling nihilistic - Nine Inch Nails - "You know what you are".
Feedback: Favourite air guitar tunes

Angel delight?

Angel Hotel, Brigg

Nowadays, the Angel sits contentedly on the Brigg Market place - resplendent in its black and white timber waistcoat with a steady stream of office workers passing through its doorway.

However, it wasn't too long ago when the Angel was not a suite of council offices, but a fully functional Hotel.
More: Angel redevelopment.
