On a bitterly cold and windswept Saturday, the general election campaign in Brigg began. Pictured on the right are Gary Johnson (centre) - the Liberal Democrat candidate for Brigg and Goole - together with his agent, David Patterson (left) and a member of the public.

Gary and David are seen in Wrawby Street collecting signatures in support for their campaign 'Scrap the Council Tax' to abolish the Council Tax and replace it with a local income tax.
