Manor House Convent - Brigg

We were kindly given permission from Baz and Tony Fewster to hold an investigation in the Manor House Convent on Friday 11th. February 05.

The team from Friends United Seeking Spirit met at the Convent at 2000hrs. Team Members: Harry Curtis, Maureen Curtis, Kevin Thorpe, Nicky Thorpe, Tracy Abrams, Nicky Crabtree. Outside Temp: 3 deg.C. Inside Temp: 8.4 deg.C. This temperature was consistent throughout the house. E.M.F. Readings - Nil

2030hrs
Commenced base line tests, equipment used was EMF meter, digital thermometer, dowsing rods and crystals, digital cameras and camcorders. Most of the team had the feeling of presence, especially in bedroom on first floor [Harry] bedroom on second floor [Nicky C] while Kevin and Nicky T felt ground floor kitchen and sitting room were very active. On arrival at the Convent, Maureen kept getting the name Agnes.

Nicky T took lots of digital photo’s on her walk round, later found that several orbs visible on quite a few shots.

2130hrs
The team decided to hold the seance in the sitting room on the ground floor, as Kevin and Nicky felt this to be the most receptive.

During the seance there was felt to be quite a lot of activity, feelings of spirit being close, Kevin and Tracy had the feeling of being touched on the back, Tracy also got the name Arabella or Anabella, Harry saw the spirit of a maid, who gave her name as Agnes, she looked to be in her late teens and was wearing a dark dress, with white apron and white cap.

Unfortunately our medium Pete Bradshaw couldn’t make the venue, as I am sure he would have brought greater findings at this location.

2300hrs
Investigation completed. In all, a very good night for the sensitive who did really well on picking up what we did.

We are hoping to go back to the convent in the very near future, this time with Pete, so look forward to writing updated report. As Pete told us he had been getting pictures in his mind of spirit in the house. While we were at a pub having a meeting he described a feature window with the colours red green and blue in it. This stunned us as he has never been there and we had not told him about the window. He also said that this window is on a landing (which it is). Pete also said who was the lady in the long black dress with white ruffled collar who greeted us at the door as we entered. We did not sense this spirit! So we are really looking forward to going back.
