Gladiator Ghost Investigation

The report on the investigation of the Dying Gladiator Public House Brigg took place on the 20th November 2004.

The night was bitterly cold very frosty and it was a waxing moon.

We started investigation in the out buildings to begin with. The flat over outhouse is where I sensed there had been a fire, felt my heart pounding and legs go to jelly, Scared feeling. Knew someone had perished there.

During this vigil Jacky sensed people running with buckets of water nothing to do with fire. Pete got the date 1830.

I got an image of a small boy who was very weak looking blonde hair, shorts to just below his knees with sailor top black patent boots. I got the name Adam come to mind, I voiced this to the others with me during vigil and Jacky got the name John Adams.

Then I got the image of a girl with long ringlets with the words from a song "Mary, Mary quite contrary"!!! Felt she was previous owners daughter.

During this vigil Pete came up with a woman in a black dress with straggly hair and was smelly. He also got the names Arthur, Mary Parker or Barker. Spirits were telling Pete that there was a secret to be told. We feel it was something like this.

Mr and Mrs Parker or Barker owned the place and Mr had a romantic liaison with one of the maids of the house and went on to have a child. The child being the little boy we had "picked up" Adam or John Adams.

All in all it was a very interesting night with many layers of residue energies and many spirits coming through. Wish to thank Tony and Nicky for their hospitality and hope we did not scare Tony too much, hehehehe. (Sorry, Tony - could not resist that ;-)
