Motorbikes, motorbiking in Brigg

Scunthorpe bikers

Brigg used to be famous for its Bike Night, but now that crown has been passed to Barton. Nevertheless, bikers still meet in our town. Pictured on the right are a group of bikers from Scunthorpe on an outing today (Sunday 28 September 2003).

The Britannia Inn on Wrawby Road is 'bike friendly' as is the Brocklesby Ox on Bridge Street. The White Horse Hotel on Wrawby Street was also the start and end point of the round Britain motorbike ride.

Outside Brigg, the Royal Oak in North Kelsey (5miles south) is bike friendly with a visor cleaning service thrown in with the price of a pint. (As well as a range of suggestively named cocktails ... ;-)

The Cider Centre at Brandy Wharf (5miles south off the A15), is also bike friendly with a massive range of ciders.

The Classic vehicle night still attracts some bikers, but is mostly visited by classic four wheelers.
