Commercial software

There are many anti virus software packages available. Symantec / Norton antivirus is an excellent commercial package. You can either buy it at your local computer store or purchase it online from: www.symantec.co.uk

Another well known package is McAfee which is obtainable from: www.mcafeestore.com

Free software

There are many free anti-virus software packages available. You can download copies for free from the software producers websites. A popular free package is AVG which is obtainable from Grisoft at: www.grisoft.com

Keep up to date!

It is vitally important to ensure that you keep its virus definitions up to date. Always remember to download the latest updates from your software producer's website. At least once a week is recommended.
