Gee more cheeeep blocks of hi density building in the centre of Brigg ... ... ... ... ... ... NO!
Brigg needs a community meeting centre where festivals can be performed. Give Brigg back its heart and let the development follow on - on the outskirts.
Gerald R
Ed: Fair point well made: Brigg does need a community centre - the Corn Exchange has yet to be replaced after it was knocked down many years ago. There is a lot of other potential development land in Brigg, however. There are many acres on the Atherton Way Industrial Estate standing idle as well as on the Island Carr and next to the railway line. Smith Parkinsons in the town centre is also waiting for another use. Any of these could house a community centre together with parking space.
