Lincoln bound ... ?

I read with interest about the 909 buses. What I really want to know is will we ever get a decent bus service to run between Brigg and Lincoln and vice versa, so that Lincoln people may visit Brigg for the day and Brigg residents may go to Lincoln for the day? Do you think this will ever happen, and would Brigg people like a service to Lincoln? I remember there used to be one, as I used to visit my boyfriend (now husband) on the bus when I lived in Lincoln and he in Brigg some 25 years ago.

I still have family in Lincoln and would like to visit them on the bus (I hate driving that road). Members of my family who live in Lincoln would like to visit me as well, but the present journey is a nightmare (change at Scunthorpe etc), and when they eventually arrive, they can't get home again on the same day. Any ideas! maybe we could have a vote on this site to see if a bus to Lincoln and back would get any use, and if so perhaps we could use the results to ask for one.

Lived in Brigg 25 years ago for 3 years then moved out to the villages. Now moved back to Brigg ( sept 2000) 4 children and 22 years of marriage later!
