Brigg Bonfire Night Cost

Unfortunately for North Lincs Council, I don't understand why there was no bonfire on Bonfire Night this year. They claim financial problems with the clean up, yet can waste thousands each year on unnecessaries. It seems to me a case of cutting corners.

I went elsewhere this year after going to the Brigg bonfire for as long as I can remember. I would be interested to know from anyone whether the entrance fee was reduced as obviously costs were clearly less for them this year!?
