How to claim back unjust bank charges

Most people go overdrawn from time to time - and get a bank letter and a 'penalty fee' from the bank as a result. It is a little known fact, however, that banks are not allowed to charge more for 'penalty fees' than it cost for them to send the letter and process the overdraft. Experts reckon that it is often only a couple of pounds whereas the banks may charge £20 per letter!
