Moving to Brigg
Welcome to Brigg!
Brigg has undergone many changes in the past twenty years. The sugar factory has gone, the town has undergone two 'regenerations' and is now in a new county (North Lincolnshire).
One of the biggest changes, however, has nothing to do with officialdom. Brigg has become the most sought after place in our area to relocate to. There is no other place in the region which has so many facililties in such a small place. It has even been dubbed the 'jewel in the crown' of North Lincolnshire.
A lot to be proud of

After living all my life to date in the midlands area I moved to Brigg in 2002 after my divorce. I have to say that Brigg and its surrounding area are like a breath of fresh air. Life seems to run at a more leisurely pace and driving all round the area is amazingly relaxing after spending my life round the crazy world of the M6 corridor.
The people I've met since being here are just wonderful and seem to have a more honest approach to life in general. So thank you, Brigg, and thank you Zena for showing me the most lovely part of Britain I could imagine to live in. Keep up the good work, Brigg - you have a lot to be proud of. :-)

... a great place to go ...

I have lived in Brigg for the whole 15 years of my life. Everyone there is friendly and laid back, people of my age are easy to get on with and aren't as badly behaved as some people would say. If you're thinking of moving to or visiting Brigg it's a great place to go and you will never forget it.

I moved into Brigg in the Spring of 2001. Having Lived in London between 1996/1998 I was a bit nervous to move back to the UK. I can vividly remember the morbid and unfriendly faces that I encountered whilst living in the South and feared that my children would have to contend with that at their young ages. The decision to move to Brigg was based on the fact that my brother had moved here several years before us and highly recommended it.
I have to say that all my fears and worries have since been put to rest (pretty much as soon as we arrived). Brigg people are the friendliest and most hospitable people you could ever want to know. My children have built good friendships and have never been scorned for the way they sound or the manner in which they do things. We all seem to have slotted in as if we had been here all our lives.
